Whereas what you should have typed was....

"I like to pretend I'm a reasonable guy who sees both sides. I'm more than happy to pretend I'll admit I'm wrong when I'm given evidence, that is until I'm given such evidence.
At that point I disappear into a long and winding road of obfuscation and "code writing""

Sounds very much like a chucky strategy too.

No, actually chucky absolutely cannot admit when he is wrong.

Maybe it's something to do with the fact that he continually celebrates low interest rates helping to service his massive [STRIKE]gamble[/STRIKE] debt.

Instead of looking at the bigger picture for the UK in that all continued low interest rates do is highlight the sh** state of the UK economy.

it sounds like someone doing well is a problem for you and that jealousy trait is showing it's ugly head again..

i don't really care if he fails or succeeds it's his problem - let's just hope that you don't have another e-breakdown and swear on your children's life again...

To get this straight, to help dampen any further future confusion.

We should all celebrate, and wish well anyone who has taken a gamble on interest rates, taken on debt and bought a house.

    BUT.

We should never celebrate, or wish anyone well who has chosen to take a gamble on prices falling and is saving a larger deposit in the meantime.

You have a go at those people saving the deposits, and believeing house prices will fall. You call them morons. Failiures. Lonely idiots. Spammers, amongst a variety of other choice phrases. But you take issue with anyone saying anything other than "I wish you well, well done" to anyone who took a gamble on low interest rates.

To save future confusion as to whats acceptable to you, have I got the above pretty much nailed?

brilliant, the devon character has taken it on himself to speak for everyone on the forum what we should or shouldn't do and what is right to celebrate and what is not right to celebrate.

keep up the good work Mr Muddle.

Why do you care so much?
unfortunately they do seem care quite a lot what you do or don't do with your own personal finances. it's a shame that.

Well it's RenovationMan who feels he has to divulge all his personal finances on an internet forum.

As far as I know this is a debate and advice forum but all RenovationMan can do is[STRIKE] boast [/STRIKE]bleat on about how great low interest rates are for his mammoth project and how they are saving his as*.
