Please Help Me Reopen My email Account

A couple of days ago when i tryed to log on to my e-mail account i got this notice '' Your account has been blocked '' to reopen your account enter a mobile number to receive a verification code . I have entered my mobile number several times and have always got the reply '' The format of the number in invalid please try again

I am certain that the format of my mobile number is correct so what do you think is the problem and why was my e-mail account blocked in the first place ?

I am not sure about my provider but it is a hotmail account that i have and yes i have entered my full mobile number and i have also tryed without the +44 and still no luck

Problem solved i now have another question for you . Why was my e-mail account blocked in the first place ? i have had this e-mail address for 5 -6 years and never had any problems why now ?

Could it be that somebody was trying to hack in to my e-mails ?

I guess they were just trying to verify your email address was operated by a human and wasn't one created by bots.
