there are two hotel reef oasis,in sharm, if you do think about booking it make sure it is the reef oasis blue bay, its 5* the other is a 4*,i couldnt fault the hotel, several pools, own beach with reef, food was good, a la cartes, staff were brilliant,Strangely enough I had looked at that one.
Would be nice to introduce him to all inclusive as he's never done it, as long as the food's decent he'd be in heaven.
Thanks so much0 -
If you don't want to sit on a beach i don't think Sharm El Sheikh is a good bet. Yes you can do trips to Cairo and other places but theres nothing there and walking around Naama Bay, the central place in Sharm, getting hassled by shops etc in the heat is not much fun.
Don't get me wrong, i like Sharm but thats because of the snorkelling. If you want to do this then go for it, otherwise i think he will be bored in Sharm. El Gouna on the other hand is a little haven of paradise in Egypt where the shops and residents are not allowed to hassle you. There is a marina and downtown area where you can eat and shop or even play mini golf and you can easily take a trip to Luxor to the temples and Valley of the Kings. You can go on snorkelling trips too.
Have a look at Direct Holidays as folllows...
12 July x 7 nights from Manchester
7 nights all inclusive at the 3 Corners Rihana
£966
A day trip to Luxor with your rep will be about £65 each or you can do an overnight for more.
The hotel is 2 minute walk from Downtown area and for about £3 a week you can get a resort bus ticket that takes you all over. A Tok Tok is 50p per person wherever in the resort!
3 Corners Ocean View is close to the Marina area and that is £1098 for the week.
The hotels do a dinearound thing too where you can go and eat in a few of the other hotels for a change.
Have a look on Trip Advisor about El Gouna, you will see how much people love it, me included!!:beer:0 -
Thanks Mick,
I've never been to any of these areas so good to have a chat with people who have. I will definitely check out the places you've mentioned.0
