  • I had a wedding album done by them earlier in the year which was lovely and arrived in good time. Placed an order for 2 more 28th Nov as xmas presents both just arrived today :T very happy with quality.

I think they bit off more than could chew for this time of the year. I hope everyone else gets theirs in time.

    :xmassign: everyone
  • To all who have failed in their bid to purchase anything from these jokers; lucky you! It may seem annoying now but it's the best thing that could have happened. If you have any chance of stopping proceedings and retaining your hard earned, do so. After many hours trying to use this website and after losing our pictures several times, we eventually got our products. The quality is unbelievably appalling. Not just a lower standard than you'd expect from a so called professional printing company, it is honestly worse than something I could have put together myself in a few hours (less time than was wasted on this fools errand) using a home pc and standard home use printer. OK we only paid a few quid but the results are not worth any money at all as you will just want to bin it. DON'T BUY - absolute joke. Clearly hoping to grab as much as possible from first time buyers - if they get a single returning customer I would gladly eat my calendars (if I hadn't already binned them).

Just a quick update - received the photobook just in time for Christmas (but this was meant to be a birthday present 3 weeks earlier) but was too ashamed of it to gift it!

As I'd guessed having read this forum, the quality was dire so wasn't even worth the 12 WEEKS wait! Absolutely terrible. The pictures were so washed out, you couldn't see the text on our professional pics of the wedding invitations - they just looked like blank pieces of paper and all of our guests look like pale green zombies.

Cannot NOT recommend this company enough. Customer Service, quality, website - all terrible. Worst online order experience ever and I shop online a lot. Sticking to Albelli as I'm always so happy with the quality.
  • AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!!!!!
This sham of a Company has now taken over 2 months to complete my 2 orders for photobooks. Originally placed on 31st October after experiencing numerous problems trying to download my images (should have realised they were rubbish at this point!) I finally received my orders after over 3 weeks and several emails (mostly unanswered) the books were terrible quality; too much contrast on some, horrific colours of people's eyes and very flat colours in other pictures. I emailed (again several times) and was finally given a freepost address to return the books for re-printing. One order did finally arrive in time for Christmas but the other has still to arrive. I was told to email 'Soraya' if my re-printed orders had not arrived withing 12 working days and have yet to have a reply from her over a month on - DISGUSTING SERVICE.
  • The director of the company that owns and manages PrinterPix and other companies is a faggot to say the least, thinks he is a master on Neuro Linguistic Programming and the worst thing considers himself to be highly intelligent. . The company also owns PRINTERINKS.COM, 999INKS.COM, PRINTEXPRESS.CO.UK. All are a con, selling substandard products an services, the company claims to have ISO90001 certification but that is all nonsense.

The company has no structure and the owners are people who exploit other individuals. A family of hawks.

There lines are down most of the time because they do not have infrastructure.
  • Absolute rubbish products. AVOID THIS COMPANY

Ordered Photobook. It arrived and was only fit for the bin. Photos blurry and poor colours, leather cover lookks like sticky back plastic, spine too tight so you can't see all the photos as they are trapped in the binding. I phoned to complain. After ages on phone I got through, they agreed to reprint it. It didn't arrived. I phoned again and they hadn't bothered to process the order. They have now reprinted it and its just arrived. They have trimmed the pages after printing so the bottom of each page is missing. they are now having a 3rd go at it.

To get through to them on the phone call 02088390411 (a sister company), pick any option from the menu, ask to be transferred to Printerpix. They always answer straight away!

CAN THIS THREAD BE FORWARDED TO TRADING STANDARDS??????

I purchased a Groupon for Printerpix and the service and quality of the product were shocking. The service was one worst i think i have ever experienced.

I placed an order on 10 November 2011 and did not receive it until 22 December 2011 although it stated delivery would be made in 8-10days. I called them several times to chase the order and the staff were rude and lied about when my order was printed and would received, they could have just said due to high demand orders would be delayed but instead they kept promising me it would be delivered in the next 2 days. The final person I spoke to on 14 December 2011, confirmed my order had not even been sent to print. I even went as far as to make a formal complaint and have not had any response a month later.

The books (apparently £30 each) were of very low standard and very cheap looking. I would not use them again and would not recommend them to anyone.

I have used Photobox before and the quality is so much better, they deliver when stated and the webiste is easy to use. Stay away from Printerpix.

    Thanks
  • Don't waste your time or money with Printerpix - its great if it works but if anything goes wrong it is impossible to get anyone to reply to emails. I have been trying for three weeks and every time I send an email I get an automated response saying I will be contacted in 24 hrs. So far the silence is deafening. It is very disappointing as this is the second time I have used the company and my first experience was fab. I am left with two photobooks which were ordered as Christmas presents but the colour has far too much red and they are useless.
  • Hi
Don't waste money with this company. I purchased the deal through Groupon. I was unable to upload a photo using my Mac and requested help. All I get are automated replies. Contacted Group they say 7 day cooling off period is over so wont give me my money back. Still cannot get a reply off Printerpix by email or phone. Been over a month and still no reply.
  • I bought the voucher off groupon and started to create my photobook them saw all the comments on this site, went into sheer panic mode as needed it for a birthday present. Thought I would carry on regardless and see what it was like when it came.

Well it has arrived (i got one off snapfish for someone for christmas which was amazing but £60) I must say it is lovely, photos clear, print fantastic and ordered and received within 4 days I really have nothing to complain about with it and believe me I am fussy, maybe I just got lucky or things have calmed down with the demand for them before christmas. My friend is just doing one so will wait to see what hers is like
