Air India or Jet Airlines?

Hi,
Has anyone any experience of Air India or Jet Airlines. I'm trying to book flights ot Kathmandu, and Air India are the best timing wise (although slightly more expensive). However, the only reviews I can find of them are terrible. Jet Airlines aren't much better, although they seem to be used by a lot of the travel companies.
Does anyone have any experience of either?
Thanks!

I flew down to Goa from Mumbai with Jet Airways and could not fault them. On an hour flight you had a full cooked breakfast and the cabin crew were rushing to feed everyone in such a short time. Cause i didn't have any breakfast i got a tap onthe shoulder from the stewardess when i was getting off the plane and she handed me a pack of biscuits and just said you will be hungry later !
They have a lot of new aircraft too.0 -
I haven't used either for long haul (prefer BA to get to India) but I've have had internal flights in India with both as well as other low cost carriers such as Kingfisher (as in the beer). No problems at all. The domestic airline market in India is growing rapidly so there is a lot of investment in airports (the new terminal at Delhi is fantastic) and the fleets are very new.
Flying in India used to be quite an experience but now it's just like being in Europe.0 -
Ive used Air India, Jet and Kingfisher for short haul internal flights. All are better than any of our budget/charter airlines, however Jet pips it.0

Very true. Flying on any low cost carrier in India or Asia puts the likes of Ryanair and Easyjet to shame.
I especially like Kingfisher. There is something fun about an airline which is also a brewery.0 -

Don't just take my word for it.

My only issue with Jet is they can be a bit mean with the booze. (International flights only)0
