I remember years ago emailing Carphone Warehouse's owner about an excellent member of staff in one of their branches. Fairly soon after she got a big promotion, not sure how connected the two were.0

I recently wrote to Asda (via the online form) to praise them for their opticians service.
I received a nice email back thanking me for the feedback and the promise that they would let the Store manager know so he could let the staff know as well.
If I remember, I'll post the reply tonight.
But, I always send thanks and praise when it is due. :T“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0 -
I had exceptional CS from Mothercare. I sent the lady an e-mail thanking her. She sent a very nice one back0

I was bored last Friday evening so I sent an email to Boots praising a fantastic retail assistant they have in my local Boots. They emailed me to say they had shared the email with the store manager to let the team know. I hope the girl in question gets the message and it makes her happy.0

I had fabulous service at a local cinema and emailed them to tell them. Gits didn't give me any free tickets though."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

I love getting feedback! When someone writes in about us at where I work, we get an email with the comments sent to us. It also goes onto our files, so our managers know. Yes, I work in customer service and giving good service is part of the job, but it is very motivational when someone comments on it/writes in. It gives me that warm fuzzy feeling inside
I give postive feedback when appropriate as well as negative feedback when needs be.Call me what you like, I was a bit "tiddly" when I chose my username
