Hello,
I sent of my claim on 5th May, 3 weeks later I had to send my Drivers Licence for identification, then they decided they needed the counterpart as well!
They were very quick at returning documents - 3 days. When I sent my licence for a 2nd time last week I also stressed that I didn't want my claim held up.
On Saturday £1350 was put in my bank acount , all in all 5 weeks despite all the fuss over the licence.
I'm still waiting for something in the post but I am really impressed at how quickly Welcome/FSCS deal with things.
