Just noticed the thing with fscs and welcome.I had a loan with welcome does this mean that i could claim back my ppi with them.Would i need all my paperwork or would they be able to find it out for me

Hi there, if your loan was on or after jan 14th 2005 then ring FSCS, they will go through what you have to do.

had email response from fscs and await app form.they want to know my account numbers with welcome.would i have to go through welcome for this as i cant remember them

The account number may be shown on your bank statement of where you were paying the loan for perhaps, or otherwise yes do contact Welcome.

Right had a email from fscs and they say they dont need account numbers.just waiting for app form.Is it guaranteed that i will get my ppi back or is it how i fill the app form in

If this was ppi put on at the start of the loan and you made a monthly payment to the end of the loan, then this is front loaded ppi, you would pay this to term end with interest, you would not have been told this, so this is a reason for mis sell, also you would get NCB from welcome but ... the ppi would still be on your loan to term end with interest,that is 2 reasons, also i dont think the insurance would have covered you for more than 5 years, but this will still be on the loan to term end with interest.
You will be compensated by the FSCS for this, but only 90% of the claim, it would be in your best interest to pay the compensation back to the loan and this will save you a fortune in interest over the term, unless you have paid this loan off.
If the loan is still running you will have a chance to cancel the ppi and you will get this back also.

have already paid off loan so all money will be mine
when i got last loan though i asked for ppi to be cancelled and they did it but i didnt recieve any rebate from them.
so i canna wait for app form to be delivered and get some funds back lol

Its highly likely in my opinion.

If for example you were sold these costly single ppi's then you do stand a good chance, good luck.
