What feedback would you leave?!

Hi,
I purchased a dress from eBay for £33, It was described as New without tags. I paid a day later and the dress arrived today, You can tell it isn't new! It has s stain on the front which is rather noticeable and a pull on the front too!
Now don't get me wrong if this was listed as used I would of accepted it but it was listed as new?!
I am a little annoyed about it but unsure of what feedback to leave?
Any ideas?

Firstly open an SNAD and get your money back, then NEG factually - something like "described as BNWOT but was in fact used, stained and damaged".

You should always contact seller first - before leaving any feedback.
As its not as described - you can return for a refund - or negotiate a partial refund if you want to keep it.
Save the feedback until you have been through these procesdures - and then leave the feedback appropiate.
Eg, seller gives full refund without arguement AND says keep item - in my book would have just saved themself from a neg.
Seller won't play ball - you need to claim via ebay/paypal - seller probably deserves a neg still etc.0 -

great advice.
I'd go with this. Contact the Seller first.0 -
Right going to contact seller and explain that I am disappointed, I am also worried that if I keep it and try and get the stain out that it won't come out!
Going to message them now, eek first SNAD!0 -
I intended on contacting the seller first anyway as I have sold the odd thing on eBay and I know I wouldn't appreciate a neg without any contact being made...
I've messaged them now so will wait patiently for a reply and see what they say.0 -

I know a few people who sell used items that look like new - and put new without tags. Its not on.
Other possibility is that they have left it lying around, stored it badly or put it on the kitchen worktop etc - and its picked up a few marks.
Either way - its their fault and you would not have paid what you did, had you known. So make sure you are happy with any outcome.
Like you say - they may come out - but you don't know that.0 -
Thanks Techspech - I have emailed them now.
Yeah I don't want to try and get it out in case it doesn't then it looks like I have done something to the dress myself!
Would rather just send it back and buy new!
Like I said I wouldn't mind if it was used but I was expecting new!0 -
£33 for a pulled stained dress is about £33 too much. I wouldn't want to keep it. I don't know why sellers think they can pass off their crap as new.0

People who open claims or leave negs without contacting seller first should be banned.
Whoah there! I replied in haste, and (wrongly) assumed that the OP had already contacted the seller and got nowhere as they were now at the leaving feedback stage.
I agree that you should always contact the seller first (I am a business seller!) I would never advocate negging without giving the seller the chance to explain themselves/address any issue first.
