  • Not a great deal available but I'm sure someone looking for a specific item could grab a bargain. I was tempted by a camcorder but I'm supposed to be saving money, not spending it!
    Consider anything only don't cry!
  • Well I just ordered the Canon MV 880x.

But then again I ordered it the day before yesterday as well only to be told it was out of stock.

Still in the clearance zone so had another try, don`t hold out much hope but will wait and see.

I paid £129 for a refurbished one from Apple a couple of months back so yeah, £129 is a good price indeed! Utterly chuffed with mine.

I've just ordered a 1gb nano for £59. My shuffle died last week and I've been lost without it. I was going to use my christmas present money to buy the new shuffle but when I saw the nano for that price I decided a screen would be nice LOL. Thanks startrekker for posting the link :D

grrr just got an email cancelling my order, apparently they were all allocated before I ordered mine. So why did it show as 3 in stock when I placed the order :(

Oh well looks like it's back to plan A.
  • I'm a well happy McSpank tonight...just after the OP posted about this, I ordered two white 2GB nanopods for £67 each inc delivery (ie £69 less quidco) & expected a scruffy open boxed item to turn up (ie a return/ex-display etc).

However, I've just taken delivery of two *brand* new 'sealed in their box' 2GB nanopods for £67 each!

A hearty thanks to the OP!
  • I think that seasoned MSE'rs know better than to trust Empire Direct when it comes to stock levels.

Anyone else remember the last sale? I do, I ordered some GBA games for presents only to get an email the next day saying there were none left, despite stock levels on the site showing plenty.

How these sites that sell non-existent stock retain customers is beyond me.
