Worcester Condenser boiler problems.

My parents have had a new one of these fitted and the water pressure needs topping up at least once a week.
Is this right and if not, what might be wrong.
I will approach the installer but prefer to be pre-armed to help with the fob off my parents had.
Also the top up procedure seems a little complicated compared to my sisters which is exactly the same boiler.
1 quarter turn on the inserted key. Turn on the valve.... top up pressue.
Turn of the valve then turn the key back and remove.
My sister's just needs the key and is a lot simpler and dryer !

Water pressure should not need topping up once a week. Check that the pressure is below the red on the pressure gauge and doesn't go into the red when the boiler is hot, my Worcester combi is set to 1bar. Check also that the overpressure valve for leak by putting a container under the discharge. If these are ok there must be a leak which your installer should fix.Named after my cat, picture coming shortly0

Ok.... we've had a good look around and finally found a leaking radiator. This has been sorted with a bit of that thin white tape in the valve thread. the pressure now seems to be holding.
However, we are still a little confused with the top up procedure which seems to require a combination of 2 valves, unlike my sisters which is only the one. Is there a reason for this ?0
