Best rates for Turkish Lira?

Hi everyone,
I'm off to Turkey on Sunday and really debating whether or not to buy my lira's in the UK before I go.

I've compared rates at the Post Office, M&S, Sainsbury's, AMEX, ICE and Tesco Online (see breakdown below):

M&S 2.506
Tesco 2.501
Post Office 2.48
Sainsbury's 2.49
AMEX 2.48
ICE 2.49

Has anyone come across a better rate? Is anyone in Turkey now and can advise what rates the street sellers are offering?

    Where are you going?

    We went last 2 years and everyone wanted euro
    June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving

    July challenge £50 a day. £ 1682.50/1550

    October challenge £100 a day. £385/£3100

    We're off to Bitez in Bodrum. I know re the Euro but I prefer to use Sterling or the Lira
