  • Watch out for children!!

I work as a police officer in London and a majority of these type of thefts are done by children, while there Fagen parents wait outside, if the kid is caught they cry and claim they thought it was there mums trolley so nearly always get let off.

I know i never used to think twice at a child standing near my trolley before.

Also beware once you have put your shopping in the car not to leave your bag in the unlocked car (often placed on the front seat) whilst you put your trolly back. Lock the car or keep your bag with you.

  • i'm terrible for leaving my handbag in the trolley and wandering off.....
Other women want a boob job. Honey the only silicone i'm interested in is on a 12 cup muffin tray, preferably shaped like little hearts

Im amazed that people seem to lose all sense regarding bags and wallets once they enter the doors of a supermarket. They leave them on the back of the trolley, on the seat of the trolley, in the trolley and then they wonder off to pick up milk or something.

If you are walking down the high street would you put your handbag on the floor behind you while you looked through a shop windown. No you wouldnt so why do people think it is safe in a supermarket!

I put my bag on the front seat while I took the trolley back, after watching it in the boot while I unloaded the shopping - it was gone when I got back.....and the thief tried all my cards within 15 minutes of it going missing. Luckily I had rung my husband and he cancelled all the cards ( thanks to CPP). I felt an idiot but it happened in seconds - I now automatically lock the doors even if I turn my back for a second. I never take my bag into the supermarket with me either. They caught the girl but she got off even after a positive video ID from me ( she sauntered past the car as I was unloading the shopping).
We have to be vigilant all the time - they only need one second to do their thing, never let anything out of sight for a second.

Now today I have just found out that my business card has been cloned and there is £689 gone from my account - AND I am mega careful there and never use hole in the walls - ever. They are so clever and devious - I can't work out when this has been done.
NO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........
