Difficult Delivery Firms

Gordi, maybe you should also do a bit of research into fannyfarts.
(and I know that it's spelt slightly differently, but I think most people know exactly what fanny was doing when they chose their user name)

With a handle such as yours, the words pot, kettle & black spring to mind.
Excuse me?
My name is Fanny, thank you very much. And Vart is my surname.
So what comes to MY mind is you stop for a minute, consider you may not know the full facts, refrain from making assumptions, and don't be so childish.

The main problem here is that you don't pay the P&P, the company does, you pay the company to cover the p&p, the goods don't belong to you till you sign and you have no contract with yodel/hdln/ups etc.Squire_Fulwood wrote: »I have just had a sign made which I am going to screw to the front gate. Remember who pays
the P&P charges. So the next time I get grief from a bad tempered delivery person I will point to my sign. If I Don't happen to be in during the 12 hour period they say they might deliver my goods then I know they will have something to read.
I have also decided to include any bad service in any vanity feedback a supplier asks for. I already told one firm I won't order from them again due to bad tempered delivery person who said he wouldn't leave the goods if I didn't get in from the garden quickly enough. I left him a chalk board telling him where I was.
In my view, if suppliers wish to employ dysfuntional firms to conduct deliveries then they should take the consequences.
There, I fell better now.If at first you don't succeed, maybe bomb disposal isn't the best career choice.0 -

Perhaps you shouldn't assume things. Fanny Vart is my name. Yes it sounds like a rude joke, but it's my name nonetheless. Perhaps you should learn some manners and decency before assuming such things, yes?0 -
just for your info OP, on every delivery drivers forum, relating to every single courier company in the land, there is a usually a sticky thread at the top entitled
"Difficult Customers".
It cuts two ways you know.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Yes, I do believe that "Fanny" is a diminutive of the female name "Euphemia" (sp?) which was quite a popular name at the turn of the 19th/20th centuries (viz Fanny Brice) but seems to have fallen out of fashion.Excuse me?

I have no knowledge of "Vart" but I have just Googled that name and the closest name match returned seemed to be "Vartio". Given that the name appears to be so rare as to not even register with google (at least as a proper name - although I have learnt that the German for fart is vart), I would urge you to consider changing your handle immediately away from your real name.
I may be being over-cautious but am thinking only of your personal on-line identity security/safety,
If identity theft is not a concern for you, perhaps, to avoid further "assumptions" from "childish" folk such as myself, you would consider changing it to FannyVart or maybe even Fanny_Vart ?0 -

Perhaps you are correct in the identity thing.
