Sainsbury voucher HOAX

Options
If you receive an e-mail message offering a £60 Sainsbury voucher DO NOT do what
it asks.

This message is a malicious chain letter which is intended to bring Sainsbury's
e-mail system down by flooding their server.

(Message from my employers systems administrator, whom I trust.)

Is this not a free voucher they sent to employees, who then forwarded it to everyone else on the planet?

When you see the phishing emails arrive and think 'does anyone actually fall for this!?'. When I saw the emails saying to send to 10 people and get a £60 voucher, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. How can ANYONE possibly belive this is for real? No offence to anyone on this board and it's not meant at anyone specifically, but jeez there are some truly stupid people in this world, it's time to trim the herd.

Quite true. The OFT commissioned research a couple of years back and found that 48% of people thought they were not legally entitled to a refund where the product was faulty. There were a fwe other gems in it, but too lengthy to go into.

I sometimes despair at the state of education and lack of common sense in this country...
