Good morning,
@plindoe – I’m glad we managed to help you with your Sky transaction, and I am very sorry that you had so much trouble on this occasion.
@Requiem – I’m really sorry about this, and do accept my apologies for not receiving an acceptable resolution to your claim. I will be more than happy to look into this for you, can you just clarify if your username is the same as your MSE username?
@BilboBaggins – Were you able to raise a support ticket regarding this transaction? If not, do send me an email at juliewells@quidco.com and I can certainly have a look at this transaction for you.
@tazmac25 – We did experience a problem with abuse of this particular offer, but don’t worry as we are currently investigating all transactions to ensure that all genuine transactions are not affected by this. Unfortunately this will prolong the process somewhat, but we will keep you updated at every stage of the process.
@quick-sand – As I don’t work for or deal with the affiliate networks I honestly don’t know the complete ins and outs of how they work, however there is a lot of information on the internet regarding affiliate networks that may provide you with more information. If you do share a computer with another person then it is vital that you clear your cookies directly before you make a purchase, as they could have picked up a number of cookies from various websites that could invalidate your cashback. The affiliate system at the moment does certainly have flaws, and it would be great if in future we can eradicate the competing cookies problem. However, I’m afraid for the time being it is still an issue and we can’t emphasise enough how important it is to clear your cookies before making a purchase.
Again, I’m afraid I can’t comment on how they measure the strength of cookies as this will be something the affiliate network deals with, as opposed to Quidco.
Kind regards,

I am deeply disappointed that my claim for cashback for switching to Scottish Power was declined today on the basis that Quidco no longer has an affiliation with them. This is unfair because you did have a link with them when I switched and the £60 was the main reason why I did so. I am disappointed firstly because this is the first time Quidco have let me down like this in four years and also because it took so long for Quidco to inform me that it was declining my request.
I feel that Quidco and Scottish Power should honour my claim as I switched in good faith on the basis of this offer.
Could you give me a clear reason as to why you cannot do this?Got £820 back from HSBC! Now entering comps like mad with the hope of winning a nice long holiday....0 -
Hi Quidco rep !.....going back to the Caesars casino "farce" £55 cashback when you wage £20....this was back on the 19th of January, and yes I amongst others on here have been very patient !!....but checking again it is now "23 weeks" so by my reckoning that means we should all be getting our cashback next week as it says on the Quidco site that 7 months is the period for cashback payments !!!....is there any sign yet ????0

Good morning,
@danielle24 & explorer2190 – We are currently looking into this issue with Scottish Power, and I am very sorry for any disappointment this has caused. We are hoping to achieve a positive outcome with them, and we will be sending out a support ticket to all members who have been affected by this issue as soon as we have received an update from Scottish Power. For the time being, if you would like to send me an email to juliewells@quidco.com with details of your username/UserID, I can certainly keep you informed of any updates that we do receive.
@scampdog – Caesars Casino are part of an ongoing delay with a particular affiliate network of ours, but we are making process and we are hoping that all transactions affected by this will be cleared up within the next couple of weeks.
@Del Boy – Sorry about this! The top link should be https://www.awin1.com and the second link should be http://uk.omgpm.com/. I will change these for you now.
@Requiem – Thank you for confirming. I will raise you a support ticket regarding this issue.

It should not matter one iota whether a merchant is no longer working with an Affiliate Network/Affiliate regarding past due cashback. Previous transactions still are outstanding and need to be paid.
Merchants do drop in and out of affiliate promotions, this happens all the time and is not new.
As long as they were with the Affiliate Network/Affiliate at the time you took the transaction is what matters. Scottish Power (in this case) still need to settle their accounts.
I've had this situation with another cashback site and there were no issues at all and the full cashback was paid.
Your problem is now the "decline" and AFAIK Quidco still don't have a "Fair Play Policy", which could have been beneficial in your case (you could have received 50% of the decline). Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Good luck.

Still nothing on my way overdue and wrongly declined churchill pet insurance £35.
Is it time someone with an interest in protecting the consumers investigated cashback networks and failure to pay?
Still, business must be good if it pays enough to afford TV advertising.0 -
Good morning,
Rosie is out of the office so I’ll respond to your questions today.
Firstly, just to reassure those concerned, we’re not happy with the decline reason given by Scottish Power either, as it is unusual and we need to rectify this for our customers. We’re speaking to the network as we’ve returned all of the claims which were declined for this reason. When cashback is declined for reasons we’re not happy with we always go back to speak to the network or retailer. I have to say it usually happens due to a genuine error being made. As soon as we have a response we will update all customers affected by this issue individually. This is a work in progress; we’re dealing with it and we’ll do all we can to get it sorted out as quickly as possible so please don’t worry if you have had a Scottish Power purchases declined for the reason that they are not working with the network. We'll update you shortly.
@Lorian – don’t worry - we sent your claim back to Churchill for you and they are investigating for us. We will also be hurrying them along for a response and as soon as we have that we will of course update you.
Kind regards,
