Hi @markdawson
I'm sorry to hear that you are having these issues. I have had a look into your account and can see that our Transaction Integrity Team have now responded to your message, and have said they will give you an update on your account status within a week. At this stage, we're unable to take this any further until we have had a decision from them, but I do apologise for any inconvenience caused in the meantime.
Kind Regards,
Quidco Company Repmarkdawson wrote: »Hi I had around £30 in my Quidco account, but I'm unable to login as it says "Your account has been blocked. Please contact our Quidco support team." I contacted support but they have been no help, they claim that I made excessive quotes on bespoke offers, making more quotes than it should be possible to do so. They claim that I did something to get around it. I have not, and I ended purchasing a lot of the things I got quotes for. Except from two items which I purchased directly from Amazon UK, as there wasn't much difference without Quidco, since I couldn't login. I asked if they could just void the cashback for the quotes if it's simpler, so I can just claim the cashback for the purchases I made. Although I haven't received a response as of yet.Official Company Representative

Today you advertised all Acer Switch 11 sales with £100 cashback. I couldn't believe my luck because one had already been reduced at microsoft store to £200 so i questioned one of your reps and was told :-
Mwamba: Yeah, that looks to be ok, as the link is for an accer 11, and the rate is for accer 11 sales, so we see no reason why you would not be eligible for that rate
Later in the day the cashback offer was amended to exclude the one i linked Mwamba to. However i did chat again and was told this :-
Mwamba: You will be fine if you have made the purchase already. That's just been changed by microsoft just now so any purchases from now on... on that excluded product will not be eligible for cashback.
I then went and spoke to a microsoft rep who said :-
"The 100 GB cash back is not a promotion of Microsoft
We deliver the product and they have to offer you 100 GBP back
However the 100 GBP will come from Quidco, not from Microsoft"
As you can see it's two different stories and i am not willing to be £100 out of pocket for someones mistake.
Who's promotion is this? And will quidco honour it ?0 -
Same boat as the chap above^
Quidco advertised £100 cashback and should be delivering it or immediately contacting affected customers to offer them the chance to cancel. I don't really care if they get the money back from Microsoft or not. I was sold a product on the basis of that £100 cashback. It's not worth £200.0 -
how secure is Quidco? my account has been hacked and someone changed by bank details so that my cashback was paid to them!!0

My car insurance was up for renewal in April, so I got a quote from GoCompare via Quidco, who were offering £2 cashback. While I did click through on the best quote, I didn't complete a purchase as the terms were not as good as the renewal terms that I had been quoted.
As of last week I hadn't been credited by Quidco for the cashback, so I raised a query with them. I also sent them a copy of the quote email that I got from GoCompare. Quidco are basically saying "Unfortunately we are unable to raise cashback claims with this retailer, as mentioned in their terms and conditions".
The GoCompare terms and conditions on Quidco's site are:- Cashback will be confirmed up to 45 days after the quote is generated
- Limited to 3 quotes per member per annum for any Gocompare.com site. Any kind of abuse of this programme is not tolerated and might result in the cashback being declined.
- You need to click on a company quote in order to complete the quote comparison
- You must have BACS as your payment method for this merchant.
- In the event on non-tracking or declined cashback, it is not possible to raise a cashback claim
- Members should only use voucher codes listed on Quidco. If you use voucher codes or gift vouchers that are not listed on Quidco your cashback may not track or be declined.
- Cashback will not be paid in conjunction with any other offer, voucher or discount code unless listed on this page, or with any other discounts such as staff or student discounts
As far as I can see I complied with all of these conditions. In particular, there is no stated requirement that a policy actually needed to be purchased.
Since this cashback offer clearly seems misleading, I thought I'd alert everyone to the fact that Quidco GoCompare cashback is not operated as per their stated terms and conditions.

I have been through all this with Quidco support already and can access my account. However as Quidco have sent my payment to someone else's account and won't reimburse me I am obviously unhappy with the response and feel that other Quidco users should be aware how easy it is for someone to hack your account and change your details.
below I have copied my post on Facebook, I wanted everybody who uses Quidco to check that their email and bank details are correct in Quidco.
I have contacted Quidco support and was not happy with the response. Someone hacked into my account and changed my email and bank details without my knowledge and without Quidco's knowledge. As a result of my complaint Quidco say "we will be implementing further security features for payment detail updates" this is a tacit admission that there were gaps in your security.
As far as the advice given above: My account is used by my immediate family but I log in on their PC. The email address details and bank details in my account were unrecognisable by any of my family and Quidco sent my expected payment to that account (approx £106) and are blaming me for this and won't give me the money. Regarding the advice about logging out - as it is not obvious on the home page how to log out, I believe Quidco want their users to remain logged in! There should be a clear log out button on the home page.0
