In January this year my other half received an email offer from Quidco along the lines of buy something through Quidco by the end of January and we'll give you an extra £10 cash back. The offer was similar to one she received in June 2016.
She made the required purchase through Boots and eventually received the normal cash back due against a Boots purchase. However, to date she hasn't received the additional £10 cash back.
This didn't really surprise her as she had to chase Quidco to honour last year's offer. Therefore, in early June she started to chase Quidco through the online claim function for missing cash back as no extra cash back was to be seen.
Quidco eventually responded and said no cash back was due from "this" retailer. She went back and said that can't be correct as you are the retailer and it is your cash back offer she has satisfied. This was at the end of June.
To date Quidco have not responded, despite another chase last week.
Can anybody help with where to go next? She's not a premium member so isn't eligible to use the contact numbers shown on the Quidco website.
She's loath to follow the FOS route for £10, which is the last resort.0 -
I switched energy supplier a few months back via Quidco the cash back is being tracked but not confirmed.
It was from First Utility to EDF.
The tariff I am now on has no leaving fee,my question is if I change
to another tariff within EDF will I still be eligible for the cashback.0 -
Without seeing the small print, it's impossible to know. Do you have a link to the T&C?0
-
Thanks for replying.
I've read the t&c's but there is no mention of what happens if I change tariffs.0 -
Sounds like your best bet is to contact Quidco support. Either that, or could you wait to change tariff until the cash back has actually been paid?0
-
That's what I now plan to do difference in tariff costs me about £3 a month but not worth risking the loss of £40 cashback,it should be paid within another two months hopefully.0

I selected an offer with Virgin Games where you can get £10, went through with the offer via Quidco and did what I needed to at Virgin Games.
I waited months for a decision on my claim, and now I've received an email saying that my claim has been unsuccessful because I probably didn't clear my cookies and another site has probably made the money back for me.
I only have 2 x other cashback sites (one of which is through my employer and has no gambling related offers) none of which I am aware of has this offer, and they definitely haven't been paid the cashback or tried to make a claim.
Is there anything I can do?
Hey @jewelleryangel
I am sorry to hear about your experience there.
When cashback is declined for that reason, the other referrer is not limited to other cashback sites. It can be a number of websites; from search engines such as Google, to the retailer's own website or best deal comparison sites.
This is especially the case when the purchases in question perhaps involved trying to find the best the deal by visiting more than one site before settling on a deal e.g. Hotel stays, best travel fares and Mobile contract purchases.
I realise how disappointing this is and really wish we could assist further but we will not be receiving that referral commission that forms your cashback as we were not seen as the body that referred you on to that purchase.
Sincere apologies once more for the disappointment caused by this.
Kind Regards,
Joseph

I've been a Quidco user for a few years and up until now have been v satisfied with the service, but my account has been blocked, and I'm struggling to get a reply from Quidco as to why, or if/when it'll be unblocked. The password reset doesn't work - I've even contacted Quidco via Twitter and as yet no action. Does anyone have a suggestion for contacting them directly to get this sorted out - I have £200 tracked in my account that I cannot get to (once it's reached payment status).
Hey @Franklymatey
Apologies for the delayed response.
Are you able to let me know whether you still are having this issue and I will get that looked into for you?
Kind Regards,
Joseph
