Best option for parcel to Australia?

Hi Peter, transglobal are currently cheaper than you for Australia and the States.;) However you'll be pleased to know you are both recommended in the courier thread.0

Just sorted a Christmas 3Kg parcel to Oz on 3 day delivery with Transglobal including them picking it up for £36! The advice would appear to be never go direct to a courier but use an intermediary who gets BIG discounts because of the volumes they ship0
-
You're pricing structure can't compete with Direct Parcel Distribution, who are currently far cheaper and offer a flat rate up to 25kg.0

I have just used Transglobal Express as recommended on this site for a 4kg parcel from UK (home collection) to Australia. It cost £42 (£30 less than parcelforce) and arrived in two and a half days. Transglobal were very helpful to deal with and I am very impressed with the service - would definitely recommend.0

I need to send some, (80), individually wrapped, pre-packed, walkers double Shortbread Fingers to Sydney, Oz. for a wedding. Can anyone tell me if these are O.K. for export to Oz, and the best transport for the package of 4kg about 30 x 30 x 10 cm. Happy New year.0

Mmmmm, need to check with Walkers for detail, the packs are marked :-
Ingredients : wheat flour, butter(31%), sugar, salt. Not suitable for nut allergy sufferers. Contains milk, wheat Gluten. I guess this may not look good.0 -
I want to send Nescafe Dolce Gusto Latte coffee pods to Australia for my family. Will this go through the customs?0

Australia has a lot of very strict customs rules. I would check Australian sites who are selling Walkers or Nescafe products and see what their prices are like. This would probably save on delivery charges and avoid any customs problems.0
