Just took dog on a hour long walk (okay....20 mins of that was in a pub....) but he's tired out for a little while, Oh yeah and played tractors with OH for a while and did a bit of mowing in a field with the biggest ruts ever so not a smooth ride!

Beemuzed is there anyone who could go and pick DH up instead of him getting a train? He is probably in shock.
I would insist on him going to hospital as well - better to be sure that he is ok
As for the car it is a thing and can be replaced - people can't be ((((((((((hugs)))))))) let us know how he is later when he is home safe and sound x

    Afternoon all

Beemuzed thank goodness he is not badly hurt but i agree he should get a check up.

Thanks everyone for the good wishes, I have calmed down now and DD1 is going to stop with me tonight so i am not on my own with my little guard dog - Charlie!

Locks changed on the patio and deadlocks fitted as extra security.(£160) Police couldn't get any fingerprints as they wore woollie gloves but think that by the way the locks were taken out that they were professionals not just opportunist kids - don't think that reassures me very much!!!

Soon to be ex OH has been on the phone carrying on again this afternoon, gave as good as I got as I wasn't a woman to be messed with today!!! Think he may leave me alone for a while now hopefully.

Anyway one bright spot on the horizon - my Take That tickets have finally come - roll on Sunday, something to look forward to at last:D

Hope everyone has a pleasant evening, think OS went out of the window somewhat today, think a take away may be called for:o

Hi! He's home! Apart from a few cuts near his nose he looks fine. Clearly his sternum is sore (airbag and seatbelt I guess) but he really does seem OK. Stubborn? Oh yes! he's agreed to see the doctor tomorrow if he has a bad night. Actually, he's just insisted on cooking supper, so I think he really is OK. Today's miracle!

Evening everyone, sorry for not posting, but have managed to read at least.

NicLou - Glad you are OK and managed to interrupt the toe-rags, also glad you gave soon to be ex as good as you got, he has been a PITA doing what he has (that was putting it politely)

Lou Another one here who had a cup of tea and a couple of digestives before feet touching floor, courtesy of DH. Also then had a couple of Weetabix to breakfast, as they absorb the stomach acids and help stop MS (or so my Dr said). As for DH's rellies, don't just sit there and take it, ask if they have a bad memory and as for top of the range making a baby special, what a load of Tosh.

HH - Well done on the dress completion. Think the bursar should have paid you to work the holidays if he doesn't want folk to mess up his system.

    Beemused Glad DH is OK.

BB Think a trip back to your Drs is in order, reminding him that you have a LO to look after and you cannot cope with this problem. They seem to forget and think you can just sit around :rotfl::rotfl:

Well been and had my pre-hols pedicure/eyebrows/gel nails. I have the apprentice, takes slightly longer, but costs 20% less ;)

Half packed now ready for the sunshine, will manage to pack, but not sure all tidying sorting will be achieved, will start again shortly. Looking forward to seeing DS & GF on Friday night.

Still LC-ing, and managed 5kg off so far, need another 10kg to be happy, at least.

    Take care all - DG
