    Morning all.

Well yesterday I made my first loaf in the Panni, wow I was so chuffed, DH took a photo of me holding it and I even got my neighbour round who is a great baker to look at it - how mad is that. It was perfect and tasted great, had the 3 kids all lined up for a slice. Will be making another today!

It's grey here today, so paperwork day for me.

    Roast chicken for tea tonight.

Post has just come and my Dukan diet book is here - that can go on hold a bit now I have the breadmaker lol

    :T:T:T:D - any left ?

    Morning All,

At home with both boys this morning. DS2 is not too bad, but I am hoping I can stave it off from becoming any worse by filling him full of vitamin C etc. today, as I really can't have any more time off.

Niclou, how terrible, I hope you are truly OK and the shock doesn't upset you too much. xxxx

Loulou, hope you start to feel a bit better today, I know you will have been awake all night worrying and upset, but just keep telling yourself the only opinion that matters is yours and Alan's. xxxx

BB hope the leg recovers soon.

Gintot, you always make me :rotfl: describing how you are in bed with your laptop, I have such an image of you with your laptop your cuppa and your cats. :D

Hester can't wait to see your photos. Can you take some of the Bursar's face next week too ;)

I have decided to gut the living room today while the sickies are in bed. I must be mad.

    .

    Bitsy-what's the update on Daisy?

She is getting better each day :D She's now insisting on her usual routine of sitting on top of the chest freezer to eat so they've put a chair next to it so she can get up there (it's too tall for her in her current state) and mum said her appetite seems to be returning. She's not allowed outside on her own yet though and has to be taken out on her harness which she wants to do ALL day so my mum is finding that bit of a PITA but given what she's been through it's the price to pay to have her back.

OMG my bird killer cat has got a massive pigeon.........I can cope with small baby birds but not huge beasties like that. And no I am not going fighting the cat for the pigeon meat ;) So she's hidden under a bush with her "toy" and I am dreading going out there........must make sure I shut the back door or she'll be in with it :eek:
Having a blitz in the garden with my mum in a mo. Got the usual housework to do and either today or tomorrow I HAVE to do some baking.

Nic - Hugs for you xxx

Jackie - sorry to see the boys are so poorly, hope they are all better asap xxx

    Catch up later.
Hugs and spoons all round. Have a good day OS or not.

Claire- well done on your loaf,Pannys are brill-but I've been doing the Dukan diet and not had a slice in 3 weeks :(.Keep telling DH its torture for me making his packed lunch.:D

Well DS1 has only been back from Spain for a day,but the fridge seems much emptier than usual- he didnt go with DH to work yesterday or today as he has some freelance design work to do.I'm going to have to do my shop early-nothing left for the aforementioned packed lunches :(I'll go shortly-might even walk if it stops raining & get DS to pick me up.

I need to look into what:money:is saying about energy prices, our deal ends in a couple of months and we're with SPower.
Right better get a move on,warm hugs to those who want one x specially Lou x

Think the dog deserves a special bone today
Nic I was also thinking the dog deserves a special treat! It's horrid, isn't it? I had a similar thing, years ago, but they broke in during the morning while I was at work. Luckily Penny-Dog and my NDN between them saw the toerags off, so they didn't do any more than break the kitchen window. Glad you're all OK.

Awww, bless her! Doesn't seem like many days ago we were all dreading her making her journey to the Summerlands; so it's great to hear that she's doing so well.
