Iphone 3g stopped working
Oh no, my iphone 3g has just stopped working, seems to have switched itself off and wont come on again.
Its over a year old, so out of guarantee, im not tied into a contract.
What should I do? not sure where to send it to get it repaired, is it worth repairing?
Can some one please give me some advice
Thanks

definately not got it wet, have been really careful with it. Nearest apple store is 30 miles away, will have to go at the weekend, if I can last that long without it!

Book a genius appointment. They will probably offer you an out of warranty replacement, which is about £140. You may get a refurb 3G, or might be really lucky and get a refurb or even new 3GS.0

Can you do a forced reset? Hold down the power button at the same time as the front option button for about 10 seconds.0
