oooo I do like it when new android posts appear, a chance to re-think which apps I possibly won't be able to live without lol. It's great to see which ones other people use.

Droidstats - very customisable, keeps track of data use, sms and calls in and out.

Doodle Fit - game, fitting shapes into other shapes

Freecaddie for all the golfers. It gives yardage to front middle and rear of the green you are playing to, accurate to within 2 metres. Free app and free to download the courses.

Igo8 for satnav, better than the Tom Tom I used to use.

Due to laws most call recording apps are usually crud, with audible warnings every 10-30 seconds during calls.

Their is an app called "Call Recorder (Root Only)" search for it in the market. Use the links in the description to see if your phone is compatible since it needs a "patched Kernel" to work, if it is you can get a free version.

It's great app just set and forget.
There's no audible warning that the call is being recorded.
Quality of the call recording is great for a cell recording.
