Cash, paid in at post office (who will credit it to my bank account). Cant be reversed and someone elses job to spot any duff notes. Car becomes theirs when money paid in, Job done.....might need them to give you a lift back home though afterwards0

how did you get round the money laundering regulations because your bank should have refused to accept £14,000 in cash unless proper prior arrangements had been made and even then they the bank have a duty to report such a large cash transaction to hmrc unless you normally deal in such sales and are known to do
Last time I was buying a car the garage said they could only accept up to £1000 in readies. Something changed my plans and I ended up with the balancing £7000 in cash, guess if they accepted it or not??;);)I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -

You sort of can. You steal a check from the back of someone's book and pay it into the sellers account. Once the fraud is detected (about a month later), the check book owner wants his money back and if the account had not been closed, the money will be taken out.
Had this done to me. I was the check book owner and my book fell out in the pool car. This was done by a colleagues friend getting a lift from the colleague. My colleague lost his job shortly thereafter.
Apparently there is also another scam with building society issued check too.0
