    Hi A1Cat

I re-read your post, and did the maths again. It still seems to me to be correct.

Can you explain why it isnt. Maybe i need to stop "testing"

Actually looks like you're right (as well! lol) - misread your post first :D

If you need 3750 Airmiles yo go on Eurostar - which seems very high - then your maths looks right.

Why does Eurostar need so many Airmiles when a return flight on BA is just 1500 Airmiles?

Is it because you are including more than 1 person?

Phew, i thought is wasn't too far out, can get back to drinking my Yali then!!!

It wasn't actually for me the op said the the 3750 airmiles were for her and family. I would just go on my own, far cheaper!!!

No idea where you are sourcing this pushchair but on the assumption of 3 x CC points, £247 = £82 in Tesco terms = 8200 points.

    8200 points @ 150 for a Yali = 55 bottles.

55 bottles @ £4.99 = £274 so you'd better be a person who would buy the wine anyway.

At my rule of thumb 3 for a tenner or £3.50 a bottle value, let's minus 55 x £3.50 from the total.

    £274 minus (55 x £3.50 = £192.50) = £81.50.

If you can justify the cost of the wine, this brings the pushchair cost down to £81.50 vs £247 headline cost :D

Wow! Thank you for working all this out - much appreciated!

The pushchair is from Tesco direct.

I was hoping not to have to spend over £200 but looks as if I would have to anyway .. there goes the option of buying the pushchair with vouchers!

I'ts a shame it's only 3 x value! & not 4x, still trying to regain the Mojo of points! I'ts been awhile although about to take a very nice holiday in France for a Family of 6 in Aug Thanks to last years 4 x value! Have bought a few bottles of Yali so Thankyou for the heads up! but do i really need the wine? Just wanting to find a few items with points that i can sell at equal value, still looking!!

The easiest way to get more Clubcard points is with a Tesco credit card (Mastercard) which gives Clubcard points for every £4 spent. If you took out a Tesco credit card recently (since 1 June) or plan to get one before 30th September, PM me and you can be my 'recommend a friend' - and we'll both get 1000 Clubcard points extra! :D

    Interesting change to Online:

Refund the differenceIf we substitute with a more expensive product, we'll only charge you the price of your ordered item**. Multi-buys are now included.
** Some promotions, such as link-save and meal deals, are excluded

I think that opens up a few possibilities for free upgrades for those of us whose Online delivery store is small and runs out of stock on promotion quite often. :D

With the credit card you get 1 point for every £4 spent not £5 ;)
  • For anyone that has done it, what are the expiration dates on the beer, and Lipton stuff?
