Only £1.59 for 1.5l and 50 points so slightly better than the Yalixx
Rots your teeth though and I wouldn't ever buy this sugared water anyway!
Not alcoholic!0 -
I want to buy a pushcahir for my baby which is £247. I only have £15 worth of cc points thus far, what would be the quickest way to gain the needed points?
What would be the best things to buy?
No idea where you are sourcing this pushchair but on the assumption of 3 x CC points, £247 = £82 in Tesco terms = 8200 points.
8200 points @ 150 for a Yali = 55 bottles.
55 bottles @ £4.99 = £274 so you'd better be a person who would buy the wine anyway.
At my rule of thumb 3 for a tenner or £3.50 a bottle value, let's minus 55 x £3.50 from the total.
£274 minus (55 x £3.50 = £192.50) = £81.50.
If you can justify the cost of the wine, this brings the pushchair cost down to £81.50 vs £247 headline cost0 -

Or 164 Bottles of Iced Tea  @ £1.59 each (and 50 CC points each) = £260.76 and 8200 points (save £13.24)
(Only Kidding - go for the Yali) xx

Fair enough, but I don't drink that teeth rotter and would give it nil value.
However, it so happens my wife likes it so I have weaned her off it...
...but if she were allowed to buy it I would give it a value of about 75p.
So 164 bottles @ 75p = £123, we can take the £260 and deduct £123 = £137 real cost.
I reckon the Yali still wins on fair & square terms:D:D:D:D

Airmiles are £2.50 for 50
so you need
3750 am / 50 * £2.50 = £187 of CC vouchers
In Yali terms that is
124 bottles * 150 cc points = 18700 points =£187 cc vouchers
It would cost you £618
booster will only allow you up to 10,000 though
Is this right guys, i have been "testing" the Yali all day0 -

Not really:D:D:D:D
Look back on the thread where I explain how to get 3750 Airmiles several times :T:T:T:T:T0 -
Let's do the maths again, this time for a return European flight.
7500 clubcard points required.
Yali £4.99 but buy in 6s to get 5% off = £4.74.
1 Yali = 158 points.
7500 points/158 points = 47.5 bottles required.
Make that 46 because I'm using my Tesco credit card which gives me more points.
46 x £4.74 = £218
Take off the value of the wine @ £3.50/bottle as I'd have bought wine at that price anyway.
46 x £3.50 = £161
So purchase cost £218 minus value of the wine £161 = £57.
(Actually a few quid less if you use the 5p off petrol/diesel vouchers that get spitted out.)
My return flight has cost me £57 instead of the £170 I usually pay.
And I got my online deliveries with a £10 off voucher so that's another £7 off the cost of the flight.
Plus I get 20kg of luggage, free food & drink on board and a scheduled British Airways flight with a choice of 3 slots a day from Heathrow.

Hi A1Cat
I Re-read your post and did the maths again. It still seems to me to be correct.
Can you explain why it isnt. Maybe i need to stop "testing"0
