Tesco Polypropylene Cutlery Set @ £1.75 - gets you 80 extra points worth £2.40 in deals?

Hoegaarden Rosee 75Cl @ £2.77 - gets you 100 extra points worth £3.00 in deals?

So it's possible to 'make money' on both of these?

yes, but bear in mind that many of tescos clubcard 'deals' are more pricey than if you paid in cash for the equilavent. Sometimes it works out much better value to take advantage of 241s or special 'family tickets' for days out or set menus or vouchers for meals out and shopping around for holidays, rahter than buying the 'deal' with clubcard vouchers.

This is so true - you really have to be MSE savvy here. The restaurant ones generally are poor value because of 241 coupons available with a modicum of searching as you point out. However folks who use airmiles appear to be very happy.

Personally, I use them for the pub meals which I find to be excellent value even without the tesco rewards.

I have a slight mystery. Just got back from t's & notice i have been awarded 3 lots of 25 extra points instead of 2. I must have purchased something with extra points on without realising it. Can anyone spot the culprit, lol
