And it's 4:3 aspect ratio by the looks of it. Who wants a 4:3 TV nowadays?

If they were in Tesco for an easy r&r you wouldn't care if it was four by two with a coat hanger for an aerial :p

In some regions they don't change from Analogue for another 5+ years and it will take freeview anyway.

    Whatcha want for a £100?

It's cetainly a candidate for replacing any old 14" portable TV's. Takes up a lot less space.
  • A 14" LCD TV for a £100!!!!!

Has it got freeview, is it widescreen next the question will be, is it HD Ready?
its £100, some CRT portables are not far off that price.

TBH honest Sainsburys have a better deal, 15" with a free freeview STB for £129 and it looks better than the Asda one

    What is a STB?
  • STB=Set Top Box?
  • Last Time i was in asda they had about 5 of their lcd tvs all returned and this was early in the day. So i am not sure how good they are. I got one in sainsburys last year for £160 and its brilliant - would definately recommend.

  • Dont know if this helps anyone, we bought a couple of months ago the onn 20 inch model and bought a freeview dish for under £20. the Tv is great, only prob with it is you cant turn it off standby unless you unplug it. but picture and sound good

    That's what it looks like.

One thing I forgot to say, I didn't get to listen to the sound, but the speaker areas are quite big:

This means it has half a chance at having OK sound; but the speaker panels do take up space, and I think detracts from the look of the TV.
