  • Wonder of Wonders! Digiscan DVD has just arrived, along with my precious slides. Quality excellent, considering quality of some of the slides (50 years old). One month seemd a long time to wait - but now happy with service and the all-imporatnt quality.
A comment of other posts. No - this transaction was not for "all my slides" - only 150 from library of thousands. Considered using my prehistoric canon slide scanner with SCSI interface but with Digiscan using a resolution of 4000dpi that seemd worth trying them out. Have alook at slide scanners with a 4000dpi resolution - there's a bargain on ebay just now at $3,500. Yes,. maybe I should considered buying it, but for the moment happy with Digiscan - indeed, would recommend rthem.
Good Forum - just joined - interesting thread.
    Cheers
