My daughter works for a Housing Association and all their properties are painted... magnolia.
She's moving house this week; her new home has just been repainted magnolia by the landlord and she is painting over it... in white.
In my opinion magnolia looks dated, institutional and frumpy; white is clean, fresh, cheap, easy to paint over, no undercoat needed. When I next move house I have already decided to paint the whole house white

We have just bought a house to do up and sell and plan to go magnolia throughout with white in the bathroom
As pointed out previously, it will only get painted over once someone moves in0
