I find it very disturbing that almost everyone who wins is via their online system which is free, and no winners come from the phone in which costs £2.00 - £3.00 a shot. Someone needs to stand up and take a look at this because the companies who are doing this are making thousands and thousands of pounds!

Does anyone know how quickly you find out if your a winner after the competition closes?

if you go to ITV page it should show the comps both live and the winners of the ones that have finished providing they have been contacted

Depends on the T&Cs of the competition you entered, some are within hours others are longer - if the first potential winner turns out to be ineligible or doesn't respond it can be months to find out.

I don't know if anyone caught the tail end of the week with the This Morning/Loose Women competition that had ran for £300k prize, they phoned the winner live on air, it was a woman who enters a lot of competition's just wondered if others had seen it or heard of her, perhaps not from this forum but any of the others.
Thought it was a great win and would loved to have been the recipient of that prize.
Ah well, good luck to her.

I don’t believe anyone, unless they are connected in some way to the competition organisers, wins the prizes. My ideal job would be to see who wins, and in what way they are friends or related to the people who allocate to winners. Is there such an organisation?.. does anyone conduct such investigations for historical winners?..

I'm all for being nice to newbies, but why not have a little look at all the "I won I won" posts to reassure yourself that some people really do win. Or maybe we're all ITV plants :rotfl:
