Photography!

I'm no longer looking for a house, but still looking for decorating ideas, and came across this beauty of an advert on Rightmove.

I wonder whether the EA actually wants to sell this place!

I'm sure I could take better photos than that, and the description is completely useless!

Still, it's less than a quarter of a million :)

Which is why I took my own photos with my SLR, a 10mm lens and bouncing the flash off the ceiling when selling my flat :)

Amazes me that people don't put the toilet lid down before taking a photo!

I've often considered freelancing myself to Estate Agents to take their photographs because I could do a better job than 90% of them.

Who, the vendor or the EA?

Put yourself in the photographer's shoes - if the owner is manky enough to leave the lid up, do you -

ask the owner to put it down,
    put it down yourself, or
take the photo anyway, and make a mental not to carry rubber gloves in the car next time?

    Who would pay you?

Would you expect to be paid upfront, or when the property sells?

Never really thought too deeply into it, I guess you could offer it as a service to vendors and they would pay for better images. Don't know, as I said it was a brief flash of a thought when I finished Uni :D
