I hope you get it sorted most manufactures carry a 1 year warranty, some 3 years for monitors

Yeah. So I contacted ASUS. Does anyone know the warranty period for their lcd monitors? On their RMA section it says three months, but im not sure for which products.

I should be good since I ordered it on the 11/04/2011. Right?

Not sure if this is tru or not however picked this up....

3 Year - ASUS LCD monitor will carry 3 years limited warranty. 1 year ZBD warranty will be provided for specific models. Check your Warranty card or contact Asus Support for more info.

The usual is that you go back to your retailer within the 1st 28 days after that you go to your manufactuer which as I said earlier ranges between 1 - 3 years warranty depending on the company.

If you bought it back in April I can't see any reason why ASUS wont honor a warranty repair or exchange.

Your contract is with the retailer. It's up to them to sort it out...

    Bump

Hey guys, I made a really stupid mistake. ASUS sent me a new monitor with no problem. I was suppose to keep all the accessories and just send back the screen. Which I did but absent minded I sent back the screw as well. The new monitor I got didnt come with the screw so I cant install the base. I have already contacted them about it, but is there anyway I can get the screw myself?

    Model no is VG236HE
