Hey
Im going to see B.B. King later this month and was thinking of taking the train and staying overnight (instead of the 3 hour drive home after the show)
So, can anyone recommend anywhere cheap (ideally under £100,) safe and clean in central london to stop in?
I normally stop at the LSE, but being term time thats not an option.

Have you looked at travelodge?0

Travelodge is having a £10 sale starting at 6am this Thursday for dates from 10th June, so you might be lucky and get a room for the night you want. The sale often goes live earlier than 6am and London rooms will go very quick.

The Travel Lodge in Southwark is great, Eddie Kidd was staying there recently while he was doing his marathon0

Hello jl81
If your stay is on a Sunday night (checking out Monday), the Hoxton Hotel is either £89 (19th June) or £99 (26th June) for a double bedroom.................depending on which Sunday you book.
Midweek the price goes over £100.;)

I have heard there is a Premier Inn sale tomorrow (Wednesday), or try the Travelodge sale on Thursday. Failing that http://www.tunehotels.com0

sorry, should of said the concert is on the 28th a Tuesday, which is why its so expensive.
I had looked at the hoxton, there are a couple of others around there which are quite a bit cheaper and look a little (£20-£40) but annoyingly they are booked.
staying at the LSE for fright fest every august has really spoiled me, paying £150-250 for 5 nights in the centre of london is such a bargain, its annoying its not available year round.Insert smart witty comment here0 -
Although not central London if you were driving to London via the M1 you could look at staying at somewhere like Watford on the night you want and getting the fast train to Euston from Watford Junction which takes 15 minutes and then pick up tube links. £40 for the night you want at the Ramada Jarvis.

If you're happy with and used to university accommodation, there's the University of Westminster Alexander Fleming Hall of Residence which is available on the 28th for £34 or the University of Westminster Marylebone Hall for £56.34
hs...nothing to see here...0 -
