Wireless help please

I've just reloaded windows XP on my sister's laptop and have forgotten how to set up wireless connection, Have phoned BT but still on hold..25 minutes later:(
Can anyone help set up her wireless connection please, THANKYOU

right click on wireless connections.

try to connect to the router (your wireless signal)

it will ask for passkey, input this twice and away you go

There is no wireless connection as I have reloaded windows XP and have to set up the wireless from scratch

have you installed the drivers for the wireless card, does the wireless icon appear or not?

I havent installed anything yet. I cant see the wireless Icon.

Start>Connect to> Wireless network connection

look in device manager, and network connections

You may need to install wireless drivers for your card if they didn't come as part of xp

I tried that but that nothing happened.
