Some very similar to mine! 770 a month while I save more than 500 a month! Just thinking to myself once its all gone I will be able to save that 1,270 a month! More than 15k a year. I only need 12.5k to move out so exciting times ahead!
Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

I pay around £500 a month roughly which is over half my wage! :O I will be saving for house/wedding/babies afterwards - only 22 so the world is my oyster ;)

About £1000 on average for the last two years. Can't wait to be debt free, it'll be like getting a £1000 a month payrise.
    Bank Loans: [STRIKE]£25000[/STRIKE] £0- Barclay Card 14%: [STRIKE]£2500[/STRIKE] £0- Student Loan: [STRIKE]£12,500[/STRIKE] £0
    Current total [STRIKE]£40,000[/STRIKE] £0:j (100% PAID OFF)

As much as I can afford that month!

My pay differs. I'm saving £55 a month to pay off my laptop bought on my brother's Argos card on 0% interest. Paying £20-£40 plus minimum payment on my CC with a balance of £1600 or so on 0% until September (hopefully get a new 0% card then). And 10% of my income goes in my driving lesson fund so hopefully I can get more work opportunities (my industry demands a driving license for a lot of jobs).

My thoughts exactly - bit harsh to come on here parading that you owe nothing... we would all like that and that's why we're doing something about it...

I've not started paying off my overdraft yet, I want to get everything else paid off first. At the moment I have a loan (£75pm for another 30 months), and a very.co.uk account (£50pm until I've paid it off-around 18 months I think)

My minumum payments are about £555 a month but I try to pay about £700 a month. Not much extra I know but it all helps.

ricktus123 if I understand right, you book annual leave and then pick up overtime. I do the same. I book my weeks annual leave then pick up two extra shifts. I haven't worked my normal hours so I still feel like I've had a break and it's great when I see my payslip.

Whilst I appreciate people's journeys through debt hell and onto debt freedom, and some stories are truly inspiring and helpful. If people just want to crow and moralise maybe they should start their own threads! :(
