I've had a look at the burners and the biro like nib does it sit in the flame when lit and dial is still pushed down but always goes out once the dial is released.

So does this mean I need new thermocouples? Ifo so, how do I replace them - hob is integrated and separate oven just below.

Look up the hob model online and see what it looks like.

I have just done one on a boiler and you really need to get a corgi engineer (or whatever their replacement is called) to do it,

I nearly blew myself up :D
