RBS SAR request

Hi,
I put my request in for SAR a few weeks ago, have had a couple of letters, one of acknowledgement then today got another letter.
Data Protection Act 1998
Thankyou for your application requesting your personal data held by the bank. Any info that is required to be provided to you under Section 7 of the DPA will be forwarded to you asap.
There were also comment about if I wanted telephone transcripts to provide exact dates and times, department you called and the name of the person who you spoke to, but please note that not every call is recorded.
I find this a bit strange, not that I know much about their filing of these things but surely if there was a call involving my account, it would be linked to my account in some way, who knows, i'm more interested in the agreement forms that I'm missing.
At this moment I have four out of seven agreement, would I be best to wait till I have received the paperwork for the rest and then claim for mis-sold ppi, or would it be better to start the forms and claim now?

This seems to be the norm now when dealing with SAR/ Agreement requests. If they can hinder a complaint they will do.0

The majority of phone lines at banks or any firm do not get recorded. The majority have no requirement or any reason to be linked to your account. Could you imagine the workload that would create if they had to do that? (and the cost which the consumer would end up paying)I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
But they often refer to them when making a complaint. They can find them then. The majority of phone lines at banks or any firm do not get recorded. In areas that are statistically more likely to carry conversations which may have a liability for advice or information they will often record the call. However, the information leading to where that call is stored may not be in a relevant filing system but stored in a different way.
Calls are often archived away after a relatively short period and the only way they can be found is knowing when the date and time was.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Thanks guys, was jusst curious, I was more befuddled as to the exact time and date, which department and who was spoken to!! When asking for all information with your account you're not really asking specifics, of course if I make a claim it will be interesting to see if they pull some phone conversations out of the hat. Thanks to all the competition posters.0

No, they don't.
They're actually on the ball with SARs as I've had to order customer files for them, usually by a given date.Anything that I do say, is strictly my opinion

Strange how a SAR letter gets sent to me from Hardman Boulevard then, they must have foresight that a claim will be upon them shortly. Thanks to all the competition posters.0 -

Maybe they are psychic
Where did you send your letter to?
I get a statement from Credit Management Services in Telford which shows the payments I make through a DCA for repaying the last loan I had with them, so I wrote my SAR letter to them as I don't think my details still sit with my originating branch. Thanks to all the competition posters.0
