Oh well, im off to surrey later to visit family so will have a look in the ones there
I looked yesterday and could only find the normal lego.
But... went today for the smoothies so thought would look again and I spotted 2 on a end of the toy aisle on the top shelf squashed between some boxed toy and large bag of big mega blocks! :j
So keep looking and in 'odd' places you never know!

I got one in my Tesco. I actually felt sick arguing over it. I paid £30 and the manager refused to reduce it to £15. I got someone to check and all the boxes had £15 stickers on but the SEL said £12. In the end the manager was phoned again and agreed to sell it for £15. I mentioned the DTD and got a full refund but it was in a very unhappy way. The reciept was put on top of the box and the CS woman turned her back on me. I don't think I could stand the guilt or the stress of doing something like that again. Still I have another present put by for Santa and it was free so not a bad afternoon really.0

Don't feel guilty, the reason companies put in place promises like dtd is to try and reassure shoppers that they have a competent well run business that (you would like to think) doesn't make many mistakes of overcharging... Sadly the staff in some tesco stores have a real attitude problem when it comes to backing up this promise, as it means admitting that they have made a mistake! Its not your problem enjoy your freebies!0 -
Thanks for the thread got 1 in pitsea store acted a numpty until the cs said they would refund only the difference, looked at her and said double the difference, she then said I had done it knowingly.
all got sorted when I asked them to ring HQ
LOLIf you dont like the answer why ask the question:D0 -
There were about 4 or 5 boxes on the very top shelf in the toy aisle - so high up I had to find a step-stool to stand on to get one down. I only took the one - it had the half-price sticker on it but went through the till at £30. I went to CS and the SA was only going to give me £15 back until I pointed out that it was meant to be DTD and so she input £30 without any further comment. Although she did ask me if there were any more left on the shelf, so I said "maybe one or two" and she went scurrying off after she had served me, so the rest may not work now.
I haven't checked WWX - has anybody else?0 -

If she's that much of a mind reader you should have asked her for the lottery numbers oh and her full name so you can pass on your com[STRIKE]pli[/STRIKE]ments to HQ.0
