Two stores I have been in recently don't have a DTD notice up. One just doesn't have a notice at all, but give DTD very efficiently without needing reminding. The other one had 'double the' painted out, but I just reminded the SA that they give DTD and, with a bit of encouragement from her colleague, she gave it to me. So I think it just depends on who you get.
