Mmm, a common prob with the 159 was the vacuum regulator which allowed too much air into the inlet. Its not a wear and tear item and as such should be rectified at no cost to you. As suggested in post #2, your next step is to write to the dealer requesting that he investigates and rectifies the probem at no cost to you under the Sales Of Goods Act. Give him 7 days to respond and say after that you reserve the right to have the fault rectified and present them with the bill. Also send a copy to the finace co.
Mmmmm now now children, lol. I am a woman but can live with being classed as a man if it get something sorted
The prawns are food for thought, I did wonder if 'other' problems would occur if I pushed for this due to people not been happy about doing any repairs!
Trading standards seem to think my case is with the HP supplier though which if this is the case, I could possibly get the job done at any garage. We'll see.
Thanks Tilt for the reply, I shall mention it to my husband and see if he can find anything out about it. I deliver babies by trade and don't have a clue when it comes to mechanics!

What Tilt says is correct especially that it should be no cost to you.Babies and cars arent much different- put stuff in one end-comes out the other, and they cost a fortune to run.Went shoplifting at the Disneystore today.
Got a huge Buzz out of it.0
