You are mixing the FairFx currency card up with Anywhere card.
FairFx Anywhere charges 1.4% for purchases and 1.4% plus £1 for withdrawals.
Travelex Cash Passport Globe charges 1.49% for both but with no ATM withdrawal charge, so will be better value for you if you are likely to make cash withdrawals.
I'm not sure why Doshwaster didn't clear up your error with your euros and percentages, nor make it clear to you about the advantages of the TCPG. I'll have a word.
The card also offers Travelex Global Emergency Assistance which means that should your card be lost or stolen we’ll have a replacement card and/or emergency cash to you within 24 hours
They also state that an additional card is free, though I don't see how you can include one with your order.

My point was that no pre-paid card guarantees absolutely free cash withdrawals as the ATM operator may impose a charge.
Otherwise, I agree with you, if you want to keep your money in Sterling then at the moment the Travelex Cash Passport Globe does seem to be the best prepaid card for overseas spending.0 -

Try Googling for "Mastercard exchange rate"
As Mastercard is a large organization processing huge amounts of money, they can obtain extremely good exchange rates, in fact they are almost the same as the spot rates you see on the business news. Visa etc have similar rates. You will not obtain better rates than these.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0
