T-Mobile Personal Call Tariff

Hi
I hope somone can help. I'm stuck with my mobile phone tariff which was brilliant about 5-6 years ago when I signed up to it. I'm on T-mobiles personal call tariff. Free evening calls to landlines after 7pm and free calls to landlines all day Saturday and Sunday. It was a great tariff to start of with and my bills averaged at approx £25 a month, however, a few years later and bills are coming in at £90 per month a vast jump right?

I'm obviously sending more text messages and calling across networks, my question is are there any tariffs out there than can beat this or match this at a better cost?

I'm lost out there as there is so much to choose from in terms of tariffs but just don't have a clue where to go. I'm not loyal to T-Mobile anymore as I don't think they offer value for money on their pay monthly tariffs.
Can anyone help or at least point me in the right direction
HELP!!!

I've just signed up to the orange online tarrif 120 mins and 30 text messages for £15. Looking at all the 4.99 or free line rental offers be careful because sometimes you can pay more over the full contract term or the same as a normal contract, and you have to mess around with cashback too. Failing that you might be best off with 3, £25 is 500 cross network any time mins a month and then if you text a lot add on some text messages, or just call and email people and cut back on the texts.

In order to answer this people, we need to know:

    a) Roughly how many texts per month
    b) How many voice calls:
    Cross Network
    Landline
    c) Mainly peak/off-peak
    d) Do you want an expensive or average mobile
    e) Does it bother you having to send off for cashback deals
    f) three - do you love em or hate em

Without this info. it is impossible to recommend a tariff
  • Thanks for all your responses.
To answer your questions Darren21 see below:
    a) Texts are unlimited but I probably send approx 30-400 per month
    b) How many voice calls:I make approx
    Cross Network 30+
    Landline 50-60 calls
    c) Mainly peak/off-peak Cross Network is usually peak and landlines is Off peak
    d) Do you want an expensive or average mobile- I have a 7610 which I think is expensive??
    e) Does it bother you having to send off for cashback deals - Don't have time for that
    f) three - do you love em or hate em - I have no experience of the 3 Network is what I think you're referring to - if not then I Definitely DON't love T-Mobile I think they take the Mick!!!!

Symbarian -Thanks for the tip about getting out of the contract v useful!!!It was good actually and has certainly made me think about getting out of the contract!
