Converting Euro's back to £'s

Can you do this in standard travel agents? Or banks? Is there are a limit on how much you can change? We may need to cancel an upcoming holiday that we've already exchanged our £'s in to Euro's for & I was wondering the easiest & quickest way to do it. We originally got them online, but would prefer to convert them back on the high street if I can. Its around 1000 Euros.

Thanks. Can I just walk into a Marks and Spencers or standard travel agents to do it though?

Any bank, travel agent or other BdeC will do it - pretty anywhere that sells them will buy them. Just walk in. You will need ID for that sort of amount.

Prepare for a nasty shock on rates though. You might still be better posting them to an online firm.

Why not just keep them until next time?

I would suggest you contact the agent who you bought from. Many have a buy back guarantee.

If you can find a friend or colleague who is going to be travelling in the Eurozone they may buy them from you at a mutually agreeable rate.
Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end
