ive had another look and no i cant see anything either but im still confused why a company would go ahead and set up a dd without giving you a credit limit etc or even just letting you know whether you were accepted or not
does this mean its accepted?
they sent the credit agreement on the day we applied but did say "please note that receipt of this email and attached Terms and Conditions does not mean you have automatically been accepted for a granite Credit Card. At the end of completing your online application an instant response would have been displayed advising you on the status of your application and next steps.'0 -
Hmmm my partner has been accepted for a Vanquis card and set up a min. repayment Direct Debit and they have set-up two @ Lloyds TSB.

Cancelled both and will just pay them manually instead - Not that any balance will be left on these cards!

i have just logged into my online banking and there is a new dd mandate been set up under the name Vanquis Bank Ltd.
there has been one set up for over a year taking the minimum payment under the name Vanquis bank so i have no idea why this one is here.....
anyone have any experience of this?
I have been with them for nearly a year also.
Just noticed that there is a new DD on my account.
The original is "Vanquis Bank" and the new one is "Vanquis Bank Ltd".
I will spend a couple of pounds this month on it and see which one takes the money.0 -
They have likley changed their trading name and have to change the DD accordingly. Nothing to worry about thay will still take only one payment

As posted above then must beCan I find out my credit score? You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)0 -

I received a letter from Vanquis today:We are writing to inform you your Direct Debit reference number is changing. From the 20th June 2011 your new Direct Debit reference number is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
[...]
During the period where the reference number change is being undertaken, you may see two Direct Debit mandates on your bank account in effect for Vanquis Bank. Please do not cancel either of these...0
