  • The only time something similar has happened to me is when I have received a replacement card with a different number. Has the reference number changed? Or, more worryingly, has someone opened a new account in your name?

i checked that tonight phil, and no there has been no searches by them. We did however apply for a granite card last month, (i hadnt realised it was vanquis as well) but have heard nothing from them about this. Not a yes or a no...
    could this be linked?

I would of thought this would be it then, strange you havent heard a yes or no yet. I would call them up .
Can I find out my credit score?
You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)

thats what im thinking but then after we realised it was vanquis, it says you cant have a granite if you have a vanquis.

Saying that though, i havent been home in over a week apart from to collect mail so if they have been trying to call, i wouldnt get it anyway
