It's not in my receipt drawer either.

Joking aside, how did you pay for it. A CC or bank statement showing the transaction can be used in the event of faulty goods.
If it was cash then you may have a problem if they insist on the receipt.0 -
LOL very funny guys - but not exactly on topic.
Burkitt; you normally are required to show "proof of purchase" so if you have a credit card statement or a bank statement showing purchase you can take that to the shop instead.

If you can't find POP, might be worth calling the manufacturer, as they may link the serial number to a date of manufacture.Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

if you get really stuck, and the speakers are at fault, rather than the amplifier circuitry, they are very cheap to replace.. have you been poking something sharp through the speaker grilles?0 -
Did you use your Nectar card? The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0

My TV developed a fault but as it was over one year old I had to contact the manufacturer, not the store where I purchased it from.
I did still have the receipt but they didn't need to see this. All they wanted was the serial number on the back of the TV and they could see where it was purchased and that it was still under guarantee. I was then able to arrange for the TV to be collected and fixed. It was returned to me within one week.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0
