Thank You, all; we have actually had our main meal for today (a sort of "veggie mixed grill" followed by strawberries) at lunchtime, so (fingers X'd) I should be OK today. :o I admit, I skipped brekkie, but then I usually do at weekends and on days when Mr LW is wfh - no idea why, it just seems to work out that it gets way beyond breakfast time before I know where I am!

Still - yesterday was quite scary; I don't usually get that bad for missing food, so will try to be better about eating in future.

Flying-wise, most of the weekend tasks are done - bed stripped and fresh linen on, whole bungalow hoovered, ironing all cleared, pc maintenance under way, greenhouse all checked and watered, car given it's weekly oil tyres and water inspection, also a Tesco run has been done, so we're on track so far.:T

Sidney's sprawled out on the sofa. I have yet to work out how one miniature Schnauzer can contrive to take up the whole of a three-seater sofa!:rotfl:

I think Mr LW wants me to go and look at a review for "Dungeon Siege 3" that he's got up on his pc - he's getting this game shortly, as I pre-ordered it for him from Amazon (I'm in credit, due to doing surveys) and honestly, he's so excited, you'd think he was 6, not 61!:rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Good afternoon everyone. Hugs and spoons to those who need them ... Lamewolf I hope you are okay and have remembered to eat today ;~)

Well OH went to B&Q this morning before I got up and came home with a floating shelf (for the kitchen) and some laminate flooring (with underlay). Without being asked ... he proceeded to lay the laminate flooring in our pathetic excuse for a hallway ... it's really a small rectangle between the living room, kitchen, downstairs loo and DD2's bedroom. It was carpeted with an offcut from the stair carpet but the underlay tacks were coming thru it (and the cat used it as a scratching post) so the carpet had to go ... I have to say he has done a grand job ... he's away to look for another floating shelf for our bedroom (preferably black) and to get some nice edging for the laminate.

It looks that good, I'm considering it for the bedrooms ... much easier than carpet!!! and just as cosy underfoot with the cushioned underlay!

I've done very little flying today ... although I am being OS and have almost finished a pair of bedsocks for my mother for christmas ... if they look okay I will make some for the MIL, then might just look for some dark wool in my stash and make them for my dad and FIL. That would be four pressies done in as many days lol, I am using my time productively lol x

So I had a fit of sleep madness and got a bit done before collapsing at 10am:

    Things to clear:
    Desk
    Shelves
    Clothes (drawers/wardrobe)
    Toiletries (mirror shelf, wardrobe shelf)
    [strike]Desk drawers[/strike]
    [strike]Bedside drawers[/strike]
    Floor
    Under the bed...
    Above the wardrobe
    Booze corner

So we're getting there :j Still far too much to do before tomorrow though :o
    ETA my 'booze corner' :o
