    not done bad

    lounge done
    e bays posted
one lot of washing doen and dried
made a start on de-mossing the block paving - another good session like today and I'll be buying a bew bag of sand to brush between the blocks...

DD has a trip letter and NEEDS £85 ASAP - two theatre visits in London and an overnighter in a hotel with breakfast - sounds like a bargain!

what I WON'T miss in my kitchen

the 'larder' cupboard - only the middle bit gets properly used. The top bit, with it's lift up door is where I store jam jars - m,ainly because I have to get a chair to stand on to get in it. In the bottom bit there are three baskets. They are supposed to usefully slide out. They're carp and they don't; the runners have broken off
The cupboard in the corner next to the oven - virtually inaccessible
The tumble dryer being in the shed because I can't fit it in
    No dishwasher
    White worktops.
    Insufficient worktops.
The drawer that won't open fully (runners broke)
The Oven - gas, broken door, no timer, was carp even when the door worked.
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

This is comfortable. I should really get up and cook in a minute.

TD on, Minion despatched to search for dark washing in cupboards, under the bed, etc.

    [Cat miaows]

When I've cooked, I'll do DW and S&S surfaces, take bins out for morning and throw folded washing at Minion's head.

At least it's warmer today, my feet were freezing yesterday.

    [Cat miaows]

    What?

....Sorry. Why didn't you say anything?

I really must remember where mOZzy lives before getting so confused about what she has been doing in the middle of the night :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I do that all the time and think - why is Mozzy up at 4am!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Toots - the ebay session has begun, mostly furniture from the garage and tv from the spare room etc, but should boost the cash fund asap. A few bits of [STRIKE]tat[/STRIKE] very lovely stuff like toys etc have been added, but a lot isnt worth very much and its more bother than its worth to wrap and post!

question - what do you do with old pillows and quilts? Seems a waste to throw them in the landfill?

    list searching...

Thanks LW, I am gradually pulling myself back up but I have never experienced this before so it is strange. It should be the happiest time of my life but I can't seem to find any enthusiasm at the mo.
