evening all,
another long drawn out day, had my hair done today yay:D. Made me feel slightly better.
But now the front doors broken, can't get in or out, so had to buy an alley door key so i could take boys to school. Went to see the GP, who was not impressed by the consultants lack of advice. So he basically said to me lose some weight, so now i'm going to weight management class next week. But he said he wants to see me in four weeks for another check up. So spent most of the day running around.
Thanks for the pm valli ((hugs)), i reply in a bit, if thats alright

Hhmm, back from the paid job and need to do a lot here this week to knock some things out so I can concentrate more on our event in July.
Rant alert - why do schools do evening performances of plays and insist its compulsory, the thought of getting DS to come home and then go back to school early evening for a few nights is horrific. Not to mention its too late for him, I can't see the relevance, he's already getting wound up about it (doesn't want to do it) and I have a busy week that week of rehearsals and meetings which doesn't allow for backwards & forwardsing to school ad nauseum....
*deep breath* or two or three.....OK lets do a HHC, shouts for DS to join in.......
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -
MOAM~~ invoice them for your time and petrol!
Not a lot to report, floors done, hoovered all of downstairs.
Rained here so no need tonight to water

Moam, simply refuse. I have before and explained about bedtime.
Kezlou, I have been through something similar. My quack wouldn't do anything until I took maximum dose ibuprofen for several months which I don't want to do. Things that have worked are lifestyle changes - losing weight by cutting calories to match my new lack of exercise routine, changing from a heavy clutch to an automatic, stopping running, driving everywhere rather than walking, being realistic about what I can do instead of pretending it isn't happening. Doing too much is fatal - only you can work out how much is enough.
Greenbee - pleased it isn't nasty but still upsetting for you.
On which note I am still sore from the weekend so keeping things minimalist this week. Just doing the dailies - not even hoovered. Carpets are grim but if anyone else minds then they know where the dyson lives.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Good evening all xx
I have remade DD's bed and started going through her DVD's(why are children unable to put a DVD back in iot's box!!!). Dinner g=has been made and scoffed and dishes all washed up.
I have found my first 2 assignments(realised they were a merit and I thought they were passes!!), but, I think I may have thrown out DD's homework file with all the rubbish on moday as we cannot find it anywhere!! We have her reading record and handwriting book but thats it, so I will need to get another book and file!!
Hope all are well, I am going to have a browse round and slob in front of the telly...xx0 -

toottifrootti wrote: »thats great news - you are getting there:T keep up with the flinging - you have been so close to getting things tidy before - I hope this time you can keep flinging and make the room you need.
I haven't got enough saved for the girls room et so I need to keep on with it.. my ebay pile is masivey diminished though so hings are moving in the right direction once again.. finally... it has taken me 2 years from KH leaving to get back on track with my ebaying!! But we are desperate for the room and the money at the moment so needs must.
I have decided the girls are not having the colour scheme they want in their room but they are having the walls pale lemon/buttermilkish and turquoise.. the paintwork is to be burgundy and the carpet dark pink same as the curtains... which are the colours in the new bedding. I also have some matching border which should be good for something.. not sure if we have enough to do the 4 walls.. it was bought before we moved and I thought the room they got would be smaller.. but I'll find something.. I am talented like that lol.
We are having a cull on dressing up clothes this week too... the too small/boys stuff is going to nursery after a wash..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
